Our story
Our story began when we noticed how difficult it was to let go of our wilting flowers as they held so much sentimental value having received them as a celebration of love. Not wanting to throw away flowers is an experience we all know too well.
Despite the act of gifting and receiving flowers being one of the most thoughtful and romantic gestures, we found it unfortunate that such a sentimental gift would die within a week. There's an irony in saying goodbye so quickly to a gift that holds so much meaning.
These problems inspired us to help others spread love and joy through the gift of flowers that last throughout the seasons. Without compromising quality, Orlandore uses real, preserved roses that last a year to create luxury rose arrangements that symbolise eternal love. From the moment our flowers are harvested from our meticulously nurtured farms to the moment they arrive on your doorstep, we are committed to ensuring each petal tells a story of care and craftsmanship.
What are everlasting roses?
Everlasting roses are real roses that are preserved so they won’t wilt, fade or die within a week. Not only do they maintain the same shape and colour as fresh roses, they feel just like fresh roses too!
How long do everlasting roses last?
Orlandore’s everlasting roses can last from 1-3 years with proper care and maintenance. Simply keep them away water and direct sunlight to maintain their elegance. Contact with water, heat, humidity or sunlight may cause the roses to fade and ruin its longevity.
Are everlasting roses real?
Yes! All of Orlandore’s everlasting arrangements use real Ecuadorian roses that are preserved to last years. Orlandore only sources high quality roses so that their stunning beauty can be displayed all year round.
Please note that we've recently introduced a range of synthetic flowers that are NOT real. This currently includes our Rose Bears. All products which do not contain real roses will be clearly stated in the product description.
How are the roses preserved?
Once the roses have reached their peak bloom, they are harvested and preserved to ensure their beauty, texture and colour last for years to come. The roses undergo a pigmentation process to achieve their desired colour as well as a non-toxic solution to maintain their shape and vibrancy.
Product care
Orlandore’s everlasting roses can last from 1-3 years with proper care and maintenance. Due to the delicate nature of our floral arrangements, please handle your flowers with extreme care. Caring for our flowers is very simple as they require minimal to no maintenance. To maximise the longevity of your flowers, ensure that you:
- Do not water - water and humidity can damage the roses
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure - it may dry the roses and cause rose colours to fade
- Keep in a cool, dry place - roses prefer room temperature!
- If the roses collect dust, gently clean with a duster
- Avoid placing anything on top of the roses and do not remove roses from their box or case (except for long-stemmed roses, which can be removed from their gift box or bouquet to be displayed in a vase)
- Do not allow florals to come into direct contact with light-colored fabric or surfaces as staining may occur
